RICK STEVES' WRITER CAMERON HEWITT THE FIRST TIME IN SARAJEVO

"Cameron Hewitt grew up listening to the Polish nursery rhymes of his grandfather, Jan Pawel Dabrowski. Twenty years later, he took a trip to Eastern Europe — and he was hooked. Today Cameron is the co-author of three Rick Steves guidebooks (Eastern Europe, Croatia & Slovenia, and Budapest), and has researched and written about dozens of other European destinations. He has also led Rick Steves tours to the Best of Eastern Europe and the Best of the Adriatic. When he's not traveling, Cameron is a writer and lead editor at Rick Steves' home office in Edmonds, Washington."

PROTEST MARCH IN THE BOSNIAN CAPITAL OF SARAJEVO , 15th October 2011

"Occupy Sarajevo" protest, 15th October 2011

Most of the people of Sarajevo do not like the name of the march "occupy."It is understandable in the city that was 44 month under the siege. during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina 1992-1995. Invitation to the "occupation" of the city in Sarajevo has other connotations in comparison with other world cities where protests were held on 15th October 2011. But, even so unpopular name of the protest did not prevent 100 -150 peple  from expressing their demands for changes in society.
